1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your email address and display name when you create an account. We also collect usage data such as quotes you save, designs you create, and learning plans you build.

2. Google Account Data

If you sign in with Google, we receive and store your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not request access to any other Google data (such as contacts, calendar, or drive files). This data is used solely for account creation and personalisation within KwotzSpace.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: operate and improve KwotzSpace; personalise your experience; send you notifications you have opted into; and communicate important account or policy changes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database provider with servers in the EU and US. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated users. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

5. Cookies

We use cookies strictly for authentication purposes (to keep you signed in) and to store your language preference. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Google OAuth for authentication; Supabase for data storage and authentication; and Unsplash for background images in the quote customiser. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

9. Children's Privacy

KwotzSpace is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email or via an in-app notification.
